Soccer

Jonathan and Benjamin had their first soccer games of the season today. This is Benjamin's first year to play. His team got creamed (2-10), but Ben played great for his first time. He really got in there and went after the ball. The picture is of him about to kick off.

Jonathan played really well. He played forward for the first half and got several breakaways and shots on goal (none went in). He played goalie for the second half. Two got by him but he saved several other goals. They got beat 0-2, but played really well. They have improved a lot since last year.

This is one that got by him!

Their games are at the same time next week. I'm going to Ben's. I figure Jonathan will get his first goal next week when I'm not there to see it!
