Thank you to everyone who has been concerned about and praying for my sister Renee and her family during hurricane Ike. I was able to talk to her yesterday and they are fine. The only damage they had was to their back fence and it needed to be replaced anyway. They had phone service yesterday, but not today (Sunday). They have no power and are not sure when they will again. Reports say a few days to two weeks. They are planning to leave tomorrow and stay with Michael's sister in Dallas. If it takes more than a few days for power to be restored they will go to Odessa to stay with Michael's parents. I'm not sure how roads are where they are, so pray that they will be able to leave.
