Shoeboxes
I took the boys to Wal-Mart today to do our shoebox shopping for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. We filled 4 boxes this year. Each of the boys picked items for a box for a boy their age and I did one for a little girl - since I rarely get to buy anything for a little girl! I hope that the boys are learning what it means to be a giver.

Our church is a collection center and very involved year round for OCC. This week we get ready for the following week when the shoesboxes arrive to make their way to So.CA! We have been blessed to receive two thank you letters from children who actually received our box! This is such an awesome way to give kids away to help out kids far away who don't know Christ.
On behalf of Franklin Graham, thank you for participating in Operation Christmas Child. We hope that you and your family were blessed as you do something simple for children around the world. Please pray for the children that will be receiving these boxes that their hearts will be touched.
