Snow Day

I meant to get this up yesterday, but I had a pretty upsetting day. Let's just say parenting a 14 year old is not easy. I hope I survive! Pray for us - seriously.

So here are pictures from the big snow we had earlier this week. Jon and Ben rushed through their school work (yeah, I made them do it!) so they could play in the snow before it all melted. School was canceled for Zachary.

I made this little creation with Smilebox. I just discovered this last week and I love it. I've already made several slide shows and greetings. So much fun!

We leave Saturday morning for Christmas in Virginia with Greg's parents. We are all so excited. Today we have band rehearsal and concert tonight. Tomorrow will be laundry and packing. Fun, fun, fun!

From our experience working with teens...what you're facing is normal. HARD, but normal!

Look at all that snow!

Have a safe trip!

I love Smilebox! What fun. Hope you all have a safe and wonderful trip. We're in Tulsa for Conrad Christmas and then home tonight to get ready for my dad to come. He's never been in our house! I hope we all survive:)

Awww, 14 year old boys, I have one and let's just say he hasn't really liked me or his Dad of late. However despite the trials and trauma he will often give me a hug and tell me he loves me. I know it's been hard, but it better to deal with it now so they can learn good habits now than struggle to charge the bad ones later on. {{{Hugs}}} Sandi
