I love my husband!

To read more love stories, check out Kristen's party.

I met my husband 20 years ago. 20 years! How can that be?

I was attending a very small Christian college in Oklahoma. His parents both worked there and I had seen him a few times. Then he became my boss - sort of. I was a work study student in the financial aid office. My boss left and Greg was asked to fill in for a few months.

Like I said, it was a small school and there wasn't a lot to do. So we had plenty of time to get to know each other. I fell hard pretty fast. I think he did too, but it took him a while to get up the courage to ask me out.

Our first date was to a school sports banquet. I remember feeling so proud to be seen with him. After the banquet we decided to go bowling with some friends. We went to his house so he could change clothes and he showed me his...come on now, I'm a good girl...his toe with no toenail. I think I fell in love at that moment.

Our 2nd date was a Carmen concert. That's when he first held my hand. He kind of had to so we wouldn't get separated in the crowd. But he never let go once we found our seats.

And he's still holding my hand...

Here's a few of the reasons I love him:

He loves me still after 18 1/2 year of marriage.
He loves our boys.
He loves God.
He is an amazing provider.
He sends me flowers.
He puts up with my moods.
He's a good kisser...although we can't kiss without laughing now because of Kristen's challenge!

Preciously sweet post. I loved every word of it. I am a big sucker for hearing how people meet.

I'm so glad he holds you hand. So tell us about that first kiss. ;)

Great story! I wonder what ever happened to Carmen? Did y'all do the "Holy Ghost Hop" at the concert?

I just randomly popped over here from We Are THAT Family, and noticed right away that we use the same Blog-In-A-Box design! I recently switched to a different background & header, but it's from the same package!

Happy Valentine's Day!
