Our little trip. Part 2.

Before heading home the next day, we stopped at Focus on the Family. They have a whole kids area based on the Adventures in Odyssey radio drama series. We have been listening to these since the first time we visited Focus when Zachary was four years old and were given a cassette. We are all fans of Adventures in Odyssey - especially Zach.


They have a huge 3 story slide. Zach was too tall. But I tried it out - kind of bumpy! The little guys loved it.
The best part - we got to record our own Odyssey show. Zachary and Jonathan had speaking parts and Benjamin was the Foley artist doing the sound effects (with a little help from Mom). We got to bring home a CD of our show too.


Zachary finally got his Wodfamchocsod (World Famous Chocolate Soda) from Whit's End Soda Fountain. He's been waiting 7 years. We visited when Benjamin was a baby and the soda fountain was closed.
And we bought this at the bookstore - all you'd ever want to know about Adventures in Odyssey. 464 pages of info! Zach has some new reading material!


It was a quick trip, but filled with memories that will last a lifetime.
