New toy!

Greg got me a new toy tool for Mother's Day.

Since I've been doing my Project 365 and taking at least a picture a day, I've found myself wanting to become a better photographer. Maybe this new camera will help. But I've got a lot to learn!

Here are some of the first pictures I've taken with the new camera. This one of Kona is straight from the camera.

These are from the boys' spring band concert last night. I was able to zoom up nice and close. Both of these I had to lighten in Photoshop. I will have to figure out how to take better indoor pics. The first one was cropped.

This was the first time they played in the same band. Jonathan is in intermediate band, but got to play a couple songs with the advanced band.

Here they are with their director. Look at that big smile on Zachary. He was actually laughing at me trying to figure out the camera.

Now I'd better go read the camera manual. Or take a photography class!

your boys are so handsome with those smiles. Zachary definitely needs to wear this look more often than his brooding teenager look....I should watch it, my days are probably numbered before it'll be Jacob glowering at me in pictures :-) Just bug the heck out everyone and keep taking pictures....practice makes perfect...well, near perfect!

Wow - what will you do with your old one? Take a class if you can...that's the best way.

Love the pics!
