Cooking Memories

This cookbook was a gift from my grandmother when I was eight years old. It is filled with little notes and comments she wrote about the recipes.

I remember using it a lot. A few recipes were favorites I made over and over.

The boys were wanting something sweet for breakfast the over day when I remembered the cookbook and this recipe for cinnamon twists.

It's really simple. Roll out canned biscuits; dip in butter, then cinnamon sugar; bake. But they are yummy!

It was fun sharing this recipe from my childhood with my boys.

My kids have one of the more recent editions of that same cookbook, and it's their favorite! I didn't realize that cookbook was that old. Awesome!
