Life in general...

So sorry to all my faithful readers (all 5 of you!) out there who have wondered where I've been this week. I've been a single parent and haven't had the time or energy to put together a blog post.

Greg has been in Florida since Sunday at a management class. He'll be home in an hour!

Here's what I've been doing:

Homeschooling - We've finished week two of homeschooling!

Driving around - To soccer, to band, to the grocery store, to the mall, to the library, to church...

Scrapbooking - I finished all my summer vacation pages!

Knitting - I've got two projects going right now.

Making music - I joined a community concert band and the choir at church. (More about these in another post - when I find the time!)

Vacuuming - Who knew beagles shed so much.

Killing ants - Anyone have any advice for me? I can't get rid of the ants in my kitchen.

And, since who wants to read a blog with no pictures, here's a cute one for you.

Aren't they cute? I think this photo need a scapbook page all its own.

thanks for the update Robin! I was starting to get the gitters! I hate it when Tim is gone too - makes things difficult! We just love our husbands! Amen!

Here's an tried and true ant fix. A little old lady told me about it 15 years ago.

Figure out where the ants are coming in, and sprinkle baby powder or cinnamon there. It will suffocate them, and make them stay away.

It works! I always do it whenever I see ants in my house. They stop coming in, and I get the rest of them with my personal ant exterminator. (my shoe) :D

Greg missed the shuttle launch didn't he? I kept hearing it was postponed because of weather. Glad he's home though!

And hello cute boys!! I love that picture!

I really love that picture. They look adorable, the grass looks great, etc. Great colors.

I have ants in my kitchen this week too. Annoying. We also have a little fruit fly problem since we left a bowl of fruit out while we were at the ranch last weekend. Grrr.
