Ben's friends Eric and Aubrey joined us for dinner and play time at McDonald's.
Then we came back to the house for gifts...
(lots of Legos and a new scooter)and
cupcakes!Eric stayed to spend the night. They stayed up late watching a movie (Monsters vs. Aliens) and got up early for Krispy Kreme donuts.
We keep our birthday celebrations simple. But this was just what Ben wanted and we all had fun!
Stay tuned...there's another birthday next week. And two more the week after that.

I think Krispy Kreme has the ability to pull anyone out of bed early!! Eric had a fun time!
We like simple celebrations too. I think the children are just as happy and the parents even happier.
