Today I'm preparing for a second honeymoon.
20 years ago I was young and in love.
Today I'm not quite so young, but I'm still in love.
20 years ago I could never have imagined all that God has blessed us with.
Today I look forward to what the next 20 years will bring.
We have spent the last week in Virginia with Greg's family. We had a great time hanging out at the lake swimming, boating, fishing, etc. We went to King's Dominion (amusement park) and Mt. Vernon (George Washington's home). We talked and laughed and played games with Greg's parents, brother, sister, nieces, etc. Benjamin overcame his fear of swimming in the lake. Zachary learned to drive a boat. Jonathan became a daredevil on anything towed behind the boat.
Today we said goodbye to the family and our boys and are flying to Florida. Tomorrow we board the Emerald Princess for a Caribbean cruise to celebrate 20 years. Our anniversary is July 14. It's the first time in 14 years we've taken a vacation without the boys. (We went to Hawaii when Zach was 2.) We know they are in good hands and will be completely spoiled.
So stay tuned. I'll have lots of pictures and stories to tell when we return.
