Last week

This is our last week with J. She spent the weekend with her dad. From what she tells us, I think it went ok. It was weird and quiet around here without her. M sure did miss her and was very happy to see her when we picked her up from school. And I guess she is going to try my patience right up until the very end. She did not want to go to school this morning and was determined that everyone in the house (most of whom were still sleeping) knew it.

And more drama with M's case. The termination hearing for her legal father was yesterday, but there was an issue with the court appointed attorney. So the case got continued until Sept. 29. More waiting. There is still a chance we can finalize on National Adoption Day in November, but I'm not really counting on it.

School is going well so far. It's not easy keeping M entertained, but the boys are getting their work done and learning (I hope!).

Ben's soccer practice is going well. He really likes his coach and team. Jon starts practice tonight with his new team. It will be crazy for the next couple months with practice 4 nights a week, but I think it's going to be a great experience for both of them.
