Emily did great on the airplane. The hardest part was take-off and landing, because she had to be sitting in my lap not playing with the tray table. We had an extra seat on the way there, so we had some room to spread out. No extra seat on the way back, but a very sweet lady sat next to us and even played with her a little.
Emily finally met my parents. I have adorable pictures of her giving kisses to them. Wish I could show them to you.
On Saturday, we went to Dewberry Farm, a pumpkin patch/corn maze/farm with tons of stuff for kids to see and do. Emily loved it. Her favorite animal was the big, black pig! Here's a couple of pics I can show.
I also got to see my nephew's high school band march at halftime of a football game. The bands in Texas are so much bigger than here. He's having a great time being in band. That was the best part of high school for me. Watching him brought back so many memories!
Sunday afternoon, we got to spend a couple hours with my friend Kristen. It was so good to see her and her family and see all the things the girls at Mercy House are making. The paper bowls were beautiful. Go see! Do some Christmas shopping and support a great cause.
After our visit Kristen wrote about me on her blog. Never stop dreaming!
