Update

We're on our way to Missouri to spend Thanksgiving with some dear friends. We're so excited to introduce them to Emily.

I didn't have time to blog before we left, but Emily's party was so much fun. We had a great time celebrating with all our friends.

Here's a picture of the cake. After checking Walmart and Costco (and not really wanting what they had to offer) I put out a plea on Facebook. Turns out the friend who did our family photo shoot is also talented with a decorating bag and fondant. I love how it turned out! (There weren't really hearts on it, just needed to block out our last name.)
