Ready to sell

I wasn't sure we could pull it off, but we did!  We got the house ready to sell in 5 days, 5 extremely long, very exhausting days.  I had until 3:30 today, when the realtor would come take pictures.  I finished up cleaning with 15 minutes to spare!

I started Monday morning after my mom and sister left.  I just went from room to room sorting, packing, and cleaning.  The great thing is now most everything except clothes and the kitchen is packed.  There is a huge pile in the garage for ARC of NM (like Goodwill) to pick up next week.  And there was a lot of trash.  I can't believe how much junk we've been keeping around - and we're not really pack rats.  But after 13 years in this house, it sure feels good to purge.

Now the house looks really good and plain and clean.  I don't think it's been this clean since we moved in!  We have painters coming next week, then it will really be great.

The listing went live tonight!

 Now I just have to keep it clean all the time and be ready to leave with an hours notice.  That should be fun.  Please God, send the right buyer quickly!
