Sunday!

We had an amazing day. The service this morning was incredible. Ana was there and stayed with me for most of the service. I've got lots of pictures of her.

This afternoon we toured a monument and then they took us to the dump. That was not a fun experience. There are children who work there collecting recyclables - heartbreaking to see.

Tomorrow we will be painting!

I am having such an amazing time! We had a children's service yesterday with over 100 beautiful children. In the afternoon, we visited the homes of the children we sponsor. I got to meet Ana and her family and bring them gifts. Ana loved the doll and blanket I knit. I'll have pictures when I return. Today we will be having church. I'll be playing my flute during the worship time.

I am in the Dominican Republic! We had a long but great travel day yesterday. We went to our project site this morning and did some work on the children's center building. We'll be painting on Monday. Tomorrow we will do children's ministry and some home visits. I'll get to meet my sponsored child either tomorrow or Sunday. We are having a great time!
