I just finished reading "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers. It was one of the best books I have ever read. It is a novel based on Hosea in the Bible and is a beautiful picture of God's love, grace, redemption, and restoration. I am even more in love with God after reading this book.
Angel, the main character in the book, had a life that was so awful it is hard for me to even imagine, yet her husband chose her and loved her unconditionally - no matter what she did. We all have things in our lives that have separated or can separate us from God. But he loves us no matter what!
I would encourage you all to read this book. It will minister to you.
