Soccer

All of my boys are now involved in soccer. Jonathan and Benjamin are both playing. Greg is the assistant coach for Jonathan's team. And now Zachary is an official referee. He and Greg both took the certification class last Sunday. Zachary refereed Jonathan's game this past Saturday. He did a great job. I didn't have my camera with me, but I'll get a picture this weekend of him in his uniform.

Benjamin's team won their game this weekend (5-4). They have a girl on their team that scored 3 of their 5 goals. She's great. Ben is still learning the game but gets a good kick in every now and then.

Jonathan's team got creamed 11-0. The team they played was very good! They could kick the ball really hard and their passing was amazing. Our boys never even got close to their goal. Jonathan played goalie for a while and was getting beat up. A kid kicked him in the face when he was going for the ball. He got hit in the face with the ball. Meanwhile, the other team's goalie was taking a nap! As a mom, it was torture to watch. Hopefully next week we will be more evenly matched.
