Recent knitting projects

Here's a few things I've been working on.

This is a scarf I started last summer! I finally finished it and got it long enough thanks to Greg - who kept saying, "It needs to be longer!" Thanks honey! Love how it turned out. And it looks great with my brown leather jacket.

I made these socks for Greg for Christmas. They fit good and he likes them, though I don't think he'll wear them anywhere but home.

The pattern for this hat was in the latest Creative Knitting Magazine. It was easy and fun to do and I love how it turned out in this pink wool yarn.

Jonathan and Benjamin got these Webkinz for Christmas. I made the scarves for them and they were part of the gift. Then Benjamin asked if I could make a hat for the seal. No problem! Then Jonathan asked if I could make a hat with holes for the reindeer's antlers. No problem! They were fun to do and the boys loved them.

Next up is an afghan for me. I have a gift card to Hobby Lobby for yarn but they are out of the colors I want. I'll wait a few days and try again. Meanwhile, I thinks I'll use up my cottons scraps and make some dishcloths. Happy Knitting!
