I just talked to my sister again. She has cell phone service if she walks across the street to the elementary school and she has a friend with a generator to charge her phone. They decided to stay. Michael was able to go to a store yesterday (an area near a hospital has power) to get more ice and drinks. They think it will only be a few days until power is restored in their area. They have friends in their neighborhood who are pooling resources for some of their meals.
