I started scrapbooking on the computer before the term digital scrapbooking was invented. I started out scrapbooking the traditional way, with all the paper, pens, scissors and cutters. Then I got a digital camera. Since my pictures were already on the computer, I thought it would be easier to just make pages on Print Shop on the computer, then print them out - no tedious cutting and pasting, no mess to clean up. A few years the trend caught on and companies started developing programs for digital scrapbooking. I tried several and never found one I really liked until now.
I met a mom at homeschool band last year who sells Creative Memories and she told me they have a program now - Story Book Creator. I was so excited. I tried the free version and made a book about my Dominican Republic missions trip. I was so impressed I bought the full version. With the full version you can create 12x12 pages and upload them and have them printed, them put them in your own album. So cool!!! I created pages for our vacation this summer, then got sidetracked. Last week I opened the program again and I am having so much fun. I'm about 2 years behind with my albums, so I am going back and catching up. Here's a few pages I've done this week.
Here are the ones I did with the Pumpkin Patch pictures.
I haven't had any pages printed yet, but I'll be placing my first order next week. Can't wait!
Happy scrapbooking!

VERY COOL!!! You have to show me the pages when you get them back. I'd love to scrapbook and I've got lots of stuff...but you know my life! I like the soccer pages..do I have the picture of the 5 of them?
You are so good! Just recently, I seperated pictures that are now currently in plasic bins. Some day I plan on putting them in albums. (This would include all the pictures that Tim and I have taken throughout our entire married life) :)
