I'm not a decorator at all. It's just not my thing and I'd rather spend my money on other things (like yarn!). However, I think I did good here.
This is the mantle above my fireplace. The clock we got a couple years ago and I just love it. The "Believe" cutout I saw at Hobby Lobby before Christmas. It was even 50% off, but I didn't get it. I was being frugal-I didn't really need it. I did get the frame (50% off) for the family picture. I hadn't framed the picture of Greg and me yet. So last week I went to Hobby Lobby just to browse. Turns out the cutout and the frames were on sale again. So I bought the cutout and another frame (somehow I actually remember what the first one looked like!). I now I have a really cool mantle, in my opinion anyway. Not sure what a decorator would think. But it's my house!

I think it's lovely. I'w with you--decorating is not my thing. The concept is lost on me. Looks like you figured things out! :)
I love it. And I'm also putting myself in the 'I'm not a decorator" category.
I hadn't thought of using a Christmas 'believe' sign all year. But I love it, because I believe!
Count me in as one of the "no-decorator" type. I love that clock too!
I did lesson on Sunday with my Awana girls and the key word was "Believe" that sign would have been a perfect visual for my lesson!
