We finally got a call about a foster placement this afternoon, but we said no. I can't go into the details here, but I just knew this would not be a good situation for us. I feel bad for saying no to our first call, but better to say no now than to have problems or have to disrupt the placement later.

- I have been married since 1990 to a wonderful man. We have one (grown?) son on his own, one son in 8th grade who loves to beat his drums, one son in 5th grade who makes beautiful music on the piano, and a beautiful 2 yr old who loves everything pink, purple, and girly whom we adopted from foster care. After 22 years in New Mexico we have recently moved across the country. I love Jesus with all my heart. I love my men. I love my girl. I love to read. I love to knit. I love digital scrapbooking. I love chocolate. That about sums it up!
