We are getting girls today! We got the call a couple of hours ago. They are 1 and 5, not biologically related, but have been together in the same foster home since the baby was a couple weeks old. The 1 yr old is already free for adoption, the 5 yr old probably will be soon.
We are all beyond excited and trying to do what we can to get the house ready for a toddler and preschooler. Life is about to get CRAZY!
We are waiting to hear back from the social worker on when they are coming, but it will be sometime this afternoon.
And I'm pretty sure we'll be going to Walmart soon!

- I have been married since 1990 to a wonderful man. We have one (grown?) son on his own, one son in 8th grade who loves to beat his drums, one son in 5th grade who makes beautiful music on the piano, and a beautiful 2 yr old who loves everything pink, purple, and girly whom we adopted from foster care. After 22 years in New Mexico we have recently moved across the country. I love Jesus with all my heart. I love my men. I love my girl. I love to read. I love to knit. I love digital scrapbooking. I love chocolate. That about sums it up!
