Thanksgiving in Missouri

We had such a great time in Missouri for Thanksgiving.  It's long drive (13 hours) but I'm so glad we went.  We spent Thanksgiving Day at our friends' house.  Lori cooked an amazing dinner.  Greg's nephew and his wife ended up joining us too.  I'm so glad they came.  They are expecting twin girls in Feburary. We're so excited for them.

On Friday we went to Silver Dollar City.  (All except Zach who opted to stay at the house - whatever.) We saw in the paper that if you went before 10am (though the rides didn't open until noon) you could get in on a shopping pass for $30.  That saved us a lot of money!  And we got to browse through all the shops.

After lunch we hit the rides.  Everyone got to do what they wanted except I didn't get to ride the Giant Barn Swing - the line was wayyyy to long!

Nap time!
Saturday we went to Bass Pro Shop to check out their Christmas village.  Emily liked riding the moose!

After lunch at Steak n Shake (yum!), Lori and I took the kids to see the Muppets, while Greg took Emily back to the hotel for a nap.  Then we all went to an arcade called 1984.  You get in for $5 get to play all these old arcade games for free.  I love Q-bert and Pac-man!

It was so good to see Jack and Lori and Jon and Ben had fun with Emma and Jackson.  Hope it's not another year before we see them again.
