Finished the sweater!

I finished this sweater this afternoon. I am very happy with how it turned out. (Didn't like how I looked in the pic, so I'm just showing the sweater.) It is knit from the top down in the round. So there are no seams! I hate sewing seams. It's not really the yarn I wanted, but I was anxious to do it and this was all Michaels or Hobby Lobby had. It's Caron Simply Soft. I'm going to order some cotton yarn this week and try another one.

Hi! I came to your site via KH. Cute sweater--maybe that could be my first since I'm afraid of seams! I loved reading your blog--I also have 3 boys similar ages to yours, my oldest will be a teen in June! and we have a musical household--the oldest plays euphonium, bass guitar & keyboards, middle child saxophone and elect guitar, and my 'baby' who is 6 got drums for Xmas and wants to take lessons!

Oh, I wanted to know if you could share your recipe for the b-day cookie cake? that's what I'm making for my middle son next weekend. A friend told me to use bread flour, which I bought, but now I don't know what to do with it! Thanks!

P.S. I also have big feet too (10)
