Halloween

We survived the Super Storm Sandy!  We did lose power Monday night about 9:30, but it was back on by 4:30 am.  The winds were really howling, but we were safe and we had no damage to our home or property.  We had more that 48 hours straight of rain.  That was weird for us desert people! I feel terrible for New York and New Jersey and all those who lost homes and busineses.  It really was a terrible storm.  They cancelled school Monday and Tuesday and had a 2 hour delay Wednesday.  My boys liked that!

Because of the storm and power issues our church postponed it's planned Trunk or Treat for Halloween.  So instead we took the kids to a nearby neighborhood to trick or treat.  We had Minnie Mouse, Mario, and a referee.

The boys taught Emily to say "trick or treat" and "happy halloween".  She charmed everyone - as usual!
Jonathan also went to another church's youth group party with some friends from school.  He had a great time.  I'm glad he's making friends - even if they are girls!

Can't believe it's November!
